The Ministry of Sports & Youth Welfare marked out a 173 acre land for the development of a world class sports complex on the outskirts of the city Bhopal (M.P.) As a gesture to encourage various sports facilities within the state the program included a cricket stadia, 2 multipurpose indoor halls, an aquatic centre, tennis courts and various outdoor pitches. An 18 hole golf course was also included so as to act as a national level venue for the golfing tournaments.

As the development of the program we included housing for the players, a convention centre with auditorium and a hotel facility for the visitors.

With a continuous river at the north and the southern edge we treated the entire planning in three parts but, contiguous through the gestures of landscaping and a 12 meter road.
